North Georgia Career Expo and Job Fair

The Georgia Department of Labor and WTVC NewsChannel 9, will co-sponsor the North Georgia Career Expo and Job Fair Thursday November 19. The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. at the NorthWest Georgia Trade & Convention Center, 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road, in Dalton.

We are pleased to partner with WTVC NewsChannel 9 to bring this opportunity to job seekers and employers in the Dalton area," said Commissioner Thurmond. "The North Georgia Career Expo and Job Fair is an important step in laying the foundation for a return to economic growth and prosperity in our state. I encourage job seekers to attend and take full advantage of the resources that will be available."

  • Helping individuals attain their work goals and increase self-sufficiency through employment, training, comprehensive rehabilitation, and support services.
  • Helping employers meet their business needs through employee recruitment and selection services, workforce information, and technical support.
