Job Title: Research and Development (Biomedical Engineer) Job Location: Eatonton, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Working as a member of the Research and Development team the incumbent will design experiments for new products and/or process improvement. He/she will also interact with all departments within the company regarding scientific operations, technical support, and troubleshooting current products and processes. This is an entry level-intermediate level. Independently evaluates, selects and applies standardized scientific or engineering procedures and techniques; assignments have clear and specified objectives, and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. Design and perform process and product application experiments relating to new product development and/or new process development. Processes and manufactures products from various sources including human and animal blood, blood components, fluids and tissues. Maintains laboratory notebooks and data within all regulatory requirements. Helps to insure compliance with all pertinent regulatory guidelines. Writes new production and other relevant documentation resulting from R & D projects. Keeps current in pertinent scientific literature and techniques. Provides technical support to other departments. A Master of Science or Master of Art's degree and 1 year of pertinent laboratory experience is preferred.
