Description:
2nd and 3rd shift positions only. The Quality Associate will report to the Quality Manager. They will fulfill and perform all of the duties in their area of responsibility accurately, swiftly, on schedule, and economically. They will treat all machines and facilities in the laboratory and measurement room diligently and take care that they are always ready for use. They will ensure that the confidentiality of internal and external data is always guaranteed. Job responsibilities include preparation of measurement reports and monitoring them; preparation of testing documents and monitoring of the analysis; processes customer complaints; processes internal complaints; responsible for monitoring of testing and measuring equipment; performs the incoming goods inspection and supplier rating; operates the laboratory equipment; performs re-qualification tests; handles and programs measuring equipment. Additional duties include communicates with the project teams regarding topics relevant to measurements (e.g. measurability of measuring points, point out deviations if necessary, and possible gauge optimization); supports relocation activities to external service providers; takes care of smaller individual projects; ensures the free flow of information between departments to facilitate cooperation and good teamwork; contributes to continuous improvement throughout the company; monitors compliance of given quality standards and quality features of running production processes according to QM-systems; participates in meetings (internal/external); ensures corporate secrets and data are kept confidential; informs his superior about the status of individual projects as well as critical deviations from specifications; ensures that all work stations have equipment that is up to date and according to safety regulations and ergonomic guidelines. Visual thinking is mandatory. Must be proficient in a team environment. Travel locally by car may be required. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required. Experience with Measurement Machines is very important. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel and have at least one year of experience in quality control. Only 2nd and 3rd shift positions are available.

Requirements:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 12 Months
