Job Title: Shipping Supervisor Job Location: Carrollton, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: This position will ensure detailed accuracy of all shipments being generated from facility. Is responsible for ensuring all associated paperwork/documentation is completed correctly. Monitor and ensure pick and load efficiencies are being consistently maintained. Ensure all employee and food safety (HACCP) guidelines are being adhered to. Employee management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems. Works with Warehouse management to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Job Process:* Assemble and prepare orders for shipments.* Ensure all outgoing shipments are examined and meet all requirements.* Ensure all outgoing shipments are completed on time and transportation appointment times are met.* Supervise and assist assigned staff in the picking and shipping out of finished goods.* Ensure all finished goods are placed in storage and recorded with accuracy. * Understand and is proficient in Pro Trace (WMS).* Assist and complete all assigned inventory related procedures.* Ensure yourself and staff have appropriate training and certification regarding powered lifts and all safety procedures. Ensure all safety procedures are followed by yourself and staff.* Coordinate daily with other plant leaders to ensure smooth flow of work.* Ensure that all docks and coolers are clean and organized at all times.* Ensure yourself as well as your assigned staff follow all HACCP, SSOP and GMP procedures.* Assists in other areas or projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor.* Strive for excellence and continuous improvement throughout storage and shipping areas.Requirements:* Lifting up to 50 pounds.* Proficient in powered industrial truck operation. * High school diploma or general education degree (GED).* Three to five years of relevant warehouse experience (including 1+ year of previous supervisory experience).Note:Candidate will/may be exposed to noise, cold temperature, some dangerous machinery or other hazardous conditions requiring safety adherence and/or PPE equipment; standing or walking a high percentage of work day.Drug screen and background check administered by Employer.
