Description:
The responsibility of the Paint Systems Technician is independent set-up, start-up, and servicing of the paint booth. Ensures a smooth production process and initiates necessary corrective actions. “Go to” person in regards to technical issues related to production. They will perform the assigned tasks according to the direction of the supervisor. The Paint Systems Technician will report to the Painting Manager. * Set-up, start-up, and operation of the paint booth. * Preventative maintenance and repair of small system errors with the assistance of the maintenance department. * Organize the material provision for the paint both. * Monitors and optimizes the machine parameters. * Diligently works to prevent damage to the paint booth. * Checks the production parameters for deviations and documents for any out of tolerances. * Reports quality related deviations to the Quality Manager. * Reports quantity and technical defects to the Painting Manager. * Understands the current quality guidelines of the company. * Reports any changes (production sequence, work place design, changes to parameters, etc.). * Support the implementation of the defined 5s standard. * Adhere to all safety guidelines outlined by OSHA and Employer. * Assist in the training of new employees. * Accurately complete appropriate paperwork and/or enter into computer if required. * Continuous participation in improvement of processes and procedures. * Communicate about quality problems, work that still needs to be completed and all required information with other shifts and departments. * Independent recognition of flaw features as well as actively contributing to detecting defects. * Forwards suggestions for improvement to the shift supervisor. * Immediately informs the manager about detected quality issues and malfunctions within work area. * Responsible handling of provided tool, like that of polishing machines. * Comply with all regulations regarding workplace safety and accident prevention in everyday operations as well as informing the supervisor if deviations are detected during the shift. Other Main Duties: * Contributes to the start-up of new production systems and equipment. * Responsible for the safety of equipment as well as that of the operators. * Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company. * Responsible to maintain the cleanliness of the paint area as required per standard. * Supports the manager to ensure all regulations regarding order and cleanliness are complied with throughout the company. * Contributes continuously to improve processes, procedures, operational figures, and informs the manager about suggestions for improvements. * Other duties as assigned by Manager. Requirements - Basic computer skills, basic Math, excellent attention to detail, read and comprehend, self-motivated, good verbal communication skills. Essential function of position is for candidate to possess good vision and eyesight. Requires candidate to be productive in a team environment, reach, move, or remain stationary for extended periods of time and to work overtime as scheduled.

Requirements:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 36 Months
