Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer Job Location: Augusta, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Unisys is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support our Unisys Security Portfolio, to include Firewalls, IDS, and Analytic technology. The engineer's primary responsibility will be to perform ongoing support and maintenance of the network security environment going forward. The engineer will be expected to learn the technology quickly through Unisys training, and act as a SME to the customer. Unisys Analytic services support LogRhythm solutions, intrusion detection and access controls for client environments.Responsibilities:Work closely with solution architects, service delivery management, and customer IT personnel to deploy the network security solution using established designs, and suggesting improvement or modifications if necessary. Administer and maintain all Analytic devices within the data center. This includes change, incident, and problem management activities as assigned. Includes upgrades and working with developers as required. Technologies specifically of interest are: LogRhythm, Cisco Intrusion Detection Sensor, Juniper firewall and Intrusion detection Sensor. Respond to performance monitoring alerts and work with other technical teams as necessary for remediation or performance improvement changes and suggestions. Produce written documentation that will be delivered to the customer regarding the design and workings of the deployed solution.Skills, Experience & Qualifications:*5+ years of experience as a Network / Security Engineer with emphasis on security standards/best practices, data center networking, and design, and implementation.*LogRhythm experience required.*Intrusion detection sensor experience required: Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet.*Security certification required, any certification is acceptable, but CISSP is preferred.*Advanced security certifications highly desired (Cisco CCSP, Check Point CCSA, etc.).*Proven operational experience with high availability data center networks.*Excellent communication skills both oral and written to clearly communicate with clients are a must.
