Job Title: Aftermarket Procurement Material Specialist Job Location: Pooler, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: This position is responsible for the setup and maintenance of Schedule Agreements and pricing for Aftermarket parts, from suppliers located in the Americas. Working closely within our Global Parts purchasing organization and the US procurement team to meet the needs of JCB from a quality and cost perspective.* To create new Schedule Agreements for new and existing suppliers.* To support the new part introduction process, working closely with production purchasing and engineering.* To work with our Global Purchasing organization to establish pricing for new materials* To contribute to the overall goals of the N.A.Parts operations specifically relating to Inventory, availability, quality and cost.* To support the Operational team as required by resolving operational issues on individual parts.* Requirement to work flexibly within a small busy team, including covering holidays as required.* To assist in ensuring the Company conforms to all policies and meets the high standards demanded of JCB and its Suppliers.* Qualified candidate must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.* Qualified candidate must have knowledge of SAP.* Qualified candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills.* Qualified candidate must take direction well and work with minimal supervision. * Qualified candidate must have knowledge of the supply base.Requirements:* Qualified candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.* High school diploma or GED required.* Employer requires two (2) years of experience in material planning / procurement.Preferred Qualifications:* Degree in business or related field.* Purchasing experience in a related industry.* Purchasing related qualification.Job Conditions: * Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.* Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
