Description:
This position will be responsible for developing and driving the company's attachments strategy in order to deliver on the aggressive growth aspirations sought by JCB in North America. This position is responsible for managing all facets of JCB Attachments to include purchasing, inventory and customer service/sales. Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial performance of the attachments business. In addition, they will develop and manage machine option kiting efforts, execute all attachment programs, and manage attachment forecasting & inventory planning for both whole goods and after-market sale. This position will be responsible for JCB's strategic development, including Annual and Long Range Attachment Plans. This position will be involved in the development and maintenance of budgets, forecasts and inventory Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: * Manage inventory levels, profit margins and pricing. * Interact with internal customers in Engineering, Production Control, Marketing, Manufacturing, JCB Management and external customers such as suppliers, etc. * Handle telephone calls properly referring potential suppliers to provide information regarding their company for JCB files and future benchmarking. * Manage daily operations, i.e. issue purchase orders, resolve invoice discrepancies and file and resolve issues presented by customers. * Qualified candidate must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable. * Qualified candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills. * Qualified candidate must multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency. * Qualified candidate must be detail oriented. * Qualified candidate must take direction well and work with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree required. * Five (5) years of experience with parts and/or attachments in a related industry. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. * Ten (10) years of experience with parts and/or attachments in a related industry.
