Job Title: Fabricator Assembler Metal Products Job Location: Byron, Georgia Salary: $14.51 - $19.30 Salary Frequency: Description: As an Assembler III, generally you will perform assembly and related functions on fabricated and purchased parts at floor stations. Will test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and other product specifications; will also use hand and power tools as required to assemble units according to product specifications and must identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and make adjustments or repairs as necessary to meet product specification codes. Candidate will assist in a variety of functions that involve these duties. The duties of this position will change according to the day to day needs of management and production needs and processes, and so requires the individual to be versatile and adaptable in addition to being physically able to perform the necessary tasks.The position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, and may require the completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in an area of specialty. Requires candidate to possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within this field. Should be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures in refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical assemblies, and have the skill set to perform a variety of complicated tasks. Will work under general supervision and will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines, as well as your experience and judgment, to perform the functions of the job. Job functions may include other duties including driving a service or delivery truck or lift truck, for which proof of a valid driver's license or fork lift training is required, and must be maintained at all times. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided by the Employer.
