Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing the credit process and analyzing financial information as it pertains to credit for dealers and customers. In addition, this position is responsible for providing competitive retail, wholesale, and Dealer Owned Rental Fleet (DORF) financing programs to facilitate the movement of JCB Equipment (new and used) through the distribution channels in the North American region.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:* Liaison between JCB and our funding source partners to ensure we are offering competitive programs and meeting all service level metrics.* Prepare and analyze financial data to recommend inventory line of credit for JCB Dealers on new and used equipment.* Recommend credit limits for rental and major account customer to aid in the facilitation of the purchase of JCB equipment.* Obtain industry information on competitive retail programs on other manufacturers and develop retail and wholesale plans for JCB Dealers* Provide sales training to JCB Dealers to help sell more equipment by offering financing and leasing solutions* Liaise between customers, dealers and funding sources* Assist JCB Finance Program and Finance Managers as needed.* Review and help funding sources with any portfolio issues and re-market repossessions and off-lease JCB equipment.* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial statements for JCB.* Produce reports comparing actual costs with budgeted costs* Maintain relationships with various funding sources to support retail and DORF programs* Inspect financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.Applicant(s) must have the following skills, abilities and competencies:* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills* Effective time management and organizational skills* Ability to understand financial statements, calculate ratios, and provide trend analysis on data to make recommendations. * Understand the credit decision process, how to structure deals, and convince funding sources & dealers of your recommendations.* Understand and calculate payments, subsidies, and ratios based on the "time value of money".* Have a working knowledge of leasing products.* Ability to train dealers and JCBF personnel in financing & leasing.* Ability to forecast and prepare budgets for JCBF.* Understand and negotiate contracts & other legal documents.* Have a working knowledge of collections, repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosure proceedings, and charge-offs.* Ability to help re-market and sell repossessions.* Understand the Uniform Commercial Code and how to perfect the security interest in construction equipment for retail, lease, and inventory occurrences.* Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.The following qualifications are PREFERRED but not required:* Master's degree in accounting or finance* Five years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment JCB is an equal employment opportunities (EEO) employer in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
