Job Title: Fabrication & Powder Paint Manager Job Location: Pooler, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: This position is responsible for supporting all fabrication and powder paint functions in a consistent manner to ensure all current practices are upheld throughout the organization as JCB grows.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:* Manage all aspects of Fabrication (Laser cutting, Bending, Machining, Welding, etc) & Powder Paint including planning, organizing, staffing, etc.* Ensure compliance to JCB Health and Safety policy and standards* Establish and maintain discipline within each team to follow standards of quality, delivery, cost and team development* Promote safety awareness, quality culture and customer focus throughout the Fabrication and Powder Paint Teams * Responsible for overseeing Group Leaders from each fabrication area* Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen deployment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies Knowledge of lean manufacturing Effective organizational and communication skills Detail oriented and self-directed Creative problem solving skills Ability to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency Flexibility with work activities Ability to give directions well, either verbal or written Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as requiredMinimum Qualifications* Associate's degree* Five years of manufacturing leadership experience* Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicablePreferred Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field* Ten years of manufacturing leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks successfullyJob Conditions: * Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.* Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
