Job Title: Manufacturing Project Manager/Engineer Job Location: Acworth, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: The employee shall be responsible for providing project management assistance to the management team. The employee will work closely with the Engineering Manager and Production Supervisor to coordinate production and operations-related assignments. Projects may include, but are not limited to: Construction, equipment procurement, line setup, material procurement, product development and testing, production launch, quality standards attainment. Additional responsibilities include: Essential duties and responsibilities: • Technical project management for launch of new products, equipment, and processes. • Work definition and tracking, release planning, resource planning, quality assurance according to customer requirements. • First point of customer contact as interface and liaison to engineering and production teams. • Manage production of trials, samples, and first articles. • Manage customer requests related to quality and the implementation of standards. • Manage project calendar for revisions and deadlines. • Manage schedules, lead-times, and coordination of suppliers of equipment and materials. • Report project status to management in US and Germany • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource and coordination of people and resources. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. • 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing with an engineering background. • A strict focus on compliance and maintaining confidentiality. • Demonstrated success with managing several projects and priorities simultaneously. • Willingness and ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time both domestically and internationally.
