Job Title: Junior Information Technology Technician (IT Technician) Job Location: Acworth, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: The employee shall be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks. The employee will work closely with headquarters in Germany to install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software defects, solve technical and applications problems, and ensure all processes are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company technology standards. • Network administration, including backup, security management, user account management, email systems, and internet access. • Support SAP, server, network desktop and functional-based hardware, software and applications. • Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation • Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluation, and installing enhancements and new software. • Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources • Assist with implementation of and testing for disaster recovery policies and procedures. • Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT-related field. • 2+ years of manufacturing experience. Strong technical skills including a high-level of proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel. • A strict focus on compliance and maintaining confidentiality. • Demonstrated success with managing several projects and priorities simultaneously. • Willingness and ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time both domestically and internationally. • Thorough knowledge of computer systems, IT components, security and data privacy principles. • Excellent analytical skills with initiative to problem solve, provide guidance to international team, and exercise professional judgment as necessary.
