Description:
The employee shall be responsible for providing support to production by assisting with programming, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, modifying and maintaining all equipment and tools related to production. The employee will also work to develop and test new processes. All activities should emphasize on the company's initiatives for safety, quality and productivity. Additional responsibilities include: • Provide front line support, process oversight, and process development for production. • Set up robots, end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, and secondary equipment. • Ensure equipment and machines meet all mechanical designs and customer requirements. • Assist with production of new product samples and new material testing. • Identify purchase items and prepare information to order machines, tools and materials. • Perform routine diagnostic checks, troubleshoot, and repair assembly equipment and other machinery. • Create and track process metrics related to process improvements. • Perform basic robotic programming and debugging of control software, including PLC’s, vision inspection systems. • Complete other duties as assigned by management. • 4 year technical degree or 7+ automated manufacturing or related experience. • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. • Experience with Robotics and Automation Equipment. • Hands on knowledge of industrial mechanical and/or control systems and PLC’s. • CAD and basic machine design skills. • Experience in machining and fabrication is a plus. • Willingness and ability to travel to Germany for initial training period.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 84 Months
