Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician Job Location: Macon, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: The industrial maintenance electrician will be responsible for assisting production in meeting goals by performing unscheduled and scheduled electrical/electronic repairs, programming and modifications to ensure maximum equipment uptime. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Role and Responsibilities This position will be required to: * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and diagrams * Obtain precise measurements and system readings using AMP and multi-meters * Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic control circuits * Troubleshoot and replace bad electrical/electronic components and wiring * Troubleshoot AC and DC motors * Run and install electrical conduit and wiring for power, controls and lighting * Troubleshoot, repair and maintain: * Electric heaters and ovens * Package sealers * Conveyor systems * Peerless Plate Presses * Printing Presses This position may utilize the following equipment: * General hand tools * Troubleshooting tools – multi-meters , amp meters and pressure gauges * Power tools – drills, saws, impact drills and drivers Minimum Qualifications * Able to move up to 70lbs * Able to occasionally work on boom lift at heights up to 70ft * Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred Success of this position will depend highly on ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment independently. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment, with consistently shifting priorities is a must. Must furnish own hand tools. Must have stable work history and ability to pass drug screening.
