Job Title: Manufacturing Production Supervisor Job Location: Griffin, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: • Oversee and coach a team of full time and temporary employees. • Train new employees in warehouse and production operations. • Ensure compliance to health, safety and quality requirements as set by the company, governmental agencies or industry standards. • Schedule workforce to ensure staffing meets production demands. • Ensure proper use of equipment and ensure maintenance standard are met. • Ensure production output meets company expectations. • Order and maintain supply inventories. • Operate forklift and various other material handling equipment. • Performs various manual labor tasks with ability to maneuver up to 60 lbs. • Operate machinery or assist the operation of machinery used in the production process. • Observe equipment operations for proper functioning. • Examine process and product to verify conformance to quality standards. • Follow company and regulatory food safety initiatives at all time. • Learn and apply aspects of FDA, HACCP, SQF and other food safety guidelines. • Maneuver raw materials and finished goods by hand and by use of hoists. • Perform quality checks both visually and by the use of meters and chemical tests. • Perform various sanitation activities such as sweeping, mopping and washing with water. • Record various information such as product testing results, meter readings and production statistics. • HS Diploma or GED • Minimum 3 years of verifiable Supervisory experience • Food manufacturing experience with mechanical knowledge of production machinery preferred Requirements: Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience: 36 Months Special Requirements: This job does not have any special requirements.
