Job Title: Production Lead Worker Job Location: Griffin, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Serves as a working lead coordinating activities of workers in a production facility. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Orients and trains employees. Performs various manual labor tasks with ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Operate machinery or assist the operation of machinery used in the production process. Observe equipment operations for proper functioning. Examine process and product to verify conformance to quality standards. Follow company and regulatory food safety initiatives at all time. Learn and apply aspects of FDA, HACCP, SQF and other food safety guidelines. Lift raw materials and finished goods by hand and by use of hoists. Perform quality checks both visually and by the use of meters and chemical tests. Perform various sanitation activities such as sweeping, mopping and washing with water. Ability to work on feet for 8 hours shift. Ability to work in wet environment. Record various information such as product testing results, meter readings and production statistics.
