Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technicians Job Location: Buford, Georgia Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: Essential Functions: To train in all aspects of the certified trade of industrial electrician, while assisting in the day-to-day work of the maintenance electrical area. Primary Responsibilities: * This position has both day and night shifts available. * Troubleshoot production equipment as required. Process and/or coordinate production maintenance requirements in a very efficient manner. * Plan and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance system for machinery, tools, and equipment. * Perform routine planned maintenance on machinery, tools, and equipment with the objective of keeping such in a high state of repair and readiness for support of production. * Perform repair on machinery, tools and equipment, as necessary to support production objectives. * Maintain equipment in a safe and good running condition. * Analyze problems and find permanent solutions and repair. * Prepare written reports; execute and document work orders/check lists. * Work in concert with production personnel to troubleshoot machine, equipment and production problems (electrical / mechanical / hydraulic). * Perform plant maintenance and repair as assigned by supervisor. * Assist in establishing and managing business relationships with services that perform plant, machine, tool, and facility maintenance, repair and improvements. * Maintain records of maintenance, purchase and repair activities, as required, to effectively communicate with all supervisors and other team members. * Report any process and equipment problems on a daily basis to the maintenance supervisor. * Assist with tool changes, set up and special / experimental production processes. * Maintain housekeeping objectives. * Adhere to company policies and procedures. * Other job-related duties and projects as assigned. Industrial electrician certification is a plus, or equivalent experience and on the job training. Problem solving and decision-making training is an asset.
