Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring that proper fault finding procedures are utilized to minimize down time on equipment within the product support call center. This position is also responsible for all technical & operator training relating to Access range of equipment.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:* Ensure dealer queries and complaints are handled promptly and efficiently.* Compile and analyze failure information to show the cause and scope of the product problems in terms of cost, volume and customer dissatisfaction.* Lead and Execute all mandatory field actions and subsequent reporting to various authorities.* Present product problems to the UK or Savannah engineering, manufacturing, suppliers or other relevant parties in order to find a cost effective resolution.* Circulate minutes from the above meeting to all District Support Managers.* Communicate the solution and necessary field action to company and dealer staff throughout the US and Canada via technical bulletins and product updates.* Input engineering and other relevant parties on new model design so far as it affects service.* Liaise with technical publications for availability of service manuals for new products.* Evaluate warranty claims submitted by dealers specific to product supported.* Evaluate draft MIs and TIs for the US and Canadian market.* Any other duties as assigned by Technical Service/Warranty Manager.* Qualified candidate must give direction well, either written or verbal.* Qualified candidate must have effective presentation and written communication skills.* Qualified candidate must have excellent customer service, problem solving and organizational skills.* Qualified candidate will be detail oriented and multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency.Nature & Scope:Reports to Technical Service & Warranty Manager.Minimum Qualifications:* Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.* High school diploma/GED required.* Five (5) years of technical service/training experience with the Access related industry.* Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree business or related field preferred.* Ten (10) years of technical service/training experience within a related industry.Equal employment opportunities (EEO) employer in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws and complies with applicable state and local laws governing non-discrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
