Job Title: Receiving Clerk Job Location: Conley, Georgia Salary: $13.00 - $13.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: This role will ensure our products are manufactured, inspected and packaged within Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines and government standards to meet customer demand. Verifies and keeps records of inbound shipments, operate a forklift or motorized lifting devices to move raw product, finished product, materials, and supplies as directed inside and outside of the processing plant. Our company has a zero tolerance for failing to follow GMP guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities: • Schedule receiving appointment times for trucks via email or phone, answer phone and check messages • Assign dock doors for inbound receiving trucks • Receive PO’s in PMPUS-AS400 (company) or Navision (Organic Girl) system • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports for receiving operation, including, weekly inventory counts of raw product and packaging • Operates forklift, power truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist products from the truck/trailer to specific areas on the production floor • Complete forklift daily operators pre-operation checklist • Compares identifying information and counts weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records. Handle any discrepancies in raw product of packaging Bill of Ladings. • Follows verbal and or written instructions and correctly identifies raw product totes/ bins markings. • Observe and implement safe storage conditions • Help perform other tasks assigned by your supervisor • Follow at all times, safety and care guidelines of equipment as explained in the Forklift Safety Operating Training. Must report all accidents as they occur • Participate in training opportunities • Keep work area clean and aisle ways clear • Safely use and dispose of cleaning agents, chemicals, and batteries • Ability to follow safety & GMP requirements and ability to identify and report to Management Food Safety and Quality Issues Skills and Competencies: • Dependable, reliable and punctual • Must be able to remain stationary, traverse, ascend/descend, reach, maneuver, pull, push, position self, bend and stretch as needed throughout shift • Must be able to comprehend, speak, read and write basic English • Ability to work at a fast pace, in a team-oriented environment • Excellent math skills required • Consistently work in a refrigerated environment, 34 – 37 degrees consistently • Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and overtime when needed • Must be able to position 50 lbs • AS400 experience a plus • Must pass background check and drug screening • Previous experience preferred in a similar environment, but not required. Employment is subject to passing a background check and drug screen. This position will start out as day shift but could vary after startup.
