Description:
This position is responsible for the vision, strategy, and leadership which drive production. Achieves and maintains high standards of customer satisfaction and delivery by focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency while minimizing expenses.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:* Achievement of daily, monthly and annual production targets.* Lead and develop a high-performance team.* Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget.* Responsible for assembly products that meet or exceed profit goals.* Aligns production to forecast and reduces labor expense. * Forecast, track and escalates as necessary to Vice President of Manufacturing. * Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality and employee engagement. * Understand the key performance indicators that support continued business growth.* Manage and direct all production and quality activity to ensure a safe work environment.* Responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement.* Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment.* Establish, monitors compliance activities to support G&D business.* Promotes a safe work environment and adheres to environment standards.* Plans and directs procedures and budgets; provide recommendations on capital expenditure projects that support safety, quality and cost improvements and objectives of the facility. * Develop and monitor operational processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to execute immediate, proactive action correcting financial, quality and schedule variances.* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:* Demonstrated success in achieving producing a quality product.* Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening.* Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.* Ability to motivate others and drive for results. * Ability to coach and develop others to achieve results.* Establishes goals, develops plans, executes and provides feedback.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes and SAP. * Effective time management, leadership and organizational skills.* Detail oriented.* Work with minimal supervision.* Effective problem-solving skills.* Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency and priority.Job Conditions: * Both office environment and manufacturing/factory environment.* Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
