Position Summary This position is responsible for the planning, execution and operation of maintenance for Employer’s manufacturing operations facilities and utilities. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities * Responsible for all building/facility related mechanical, electrical and environmental systems. * Ensure adherence to any and all codes, legal requirements and regulations. * Knowledge of manufacturing equipment processes, procedures, installation and repair. Nature & Scope - Reports to General Manager, Manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree. * Ten years of strong Facilities Management experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. * Fifteen years of strong facilities experience in a manufacturing environment. * Five years of facilities/engineering management experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies * Fluent in PLC Ladder Logic Programming. * Excellent estimating and budgeting skills. * Good analytical skills with a practical balance of shop floor experience. * Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes. * Highly motivated self-starter. * Work well with minimal supervision and have a positive attitude. * Ability to delegate work, develop staff and recruit and retain high caliber staff. * Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
