Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Location: Norcross, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee the day to day operations of their assigned jobs to ensure that all phases of work is completed in a timely manner and performed to a high standard of quality. • Supervise and schedule the work of all in-house (hourly) workers and sub-contractors. • Order and schedule materials for delivery and inspect material for defects to ensure it is of high quality. • Approve all timesheets, invoices, and sub-contractor’s applications for payments related to the jobs they oversee. REQUIREMENTS • Supervisors must exhibit a good, working knowledge of residential building practices and building codes; requires minimum 5 years Construction Supervisory/Management experience. • Computer proficiency required. • Experience in restoration construction, painting and other related restoration services is a plus but not required. • Must possess above average written and oral communication skills. • Must be able to travel 30% of the time. • Regularly ascend/descend ladders and scaffolding as well as position self to perform tasks overhead and underneath. • Must maintain company vehicle (if assigned) by keeping it clean and in good working order. Maintain a good driving record consisting of no more than one (1) moving violation. • Must pass pre-employment and annual background check, physical test, drug test, and E-Verify.
