Job Title: Production Operator Job Location: Commerce, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Summary: This position will be dealing with raw poultry products and will need to be open to working any shift. This position is very repetitious and requires PPE to be worn and the environment to remain clean and sanitized. Liquid Department (Mostly Automated) Jr/Sr: Measure enzymes and place in tanks Jr/Sr: Change flow plates Jr/Sr: handling chemical/cleaning equipment/CIP (Cleaning In Place) Jr: Start Up/Shut Down Jr: Minor trouble shooting Sr: Same as Jr + need to have worked in a processing facility. Past experience of working on similar type machines. Even if not same machine can apply what they know from their past machine exp to these machines Sr. needs to know all equipment Sr: Tricanter/Ultrafiltration/Evaporator Sr: Understand parameters for different recipes Sr: Read/Understand/Interpret process trends Dryer Operator Tasks: Similar to Liquid for cleaning-trouble shooting, etc Changing or cleaning of filters. More technical experience needed. Start Up-warm up dryer, get airflow moving through dryer Start Up-run water through dryer. Monitor air and liquid flow Add Product (Liquid) Regular inspection of nozzles to ensure good liquid flow into dryer. Checking for clogs. Cleaning nozzles as needed per procedure-this can be done while dryer is running. Following detail procedures regarding product flow. Lots of stairs & walking and platforms. Handles all steps from startup of dryer through the cooling and lifting augers. Those will have to be cleaned daily by hand. Use of spray nozzles for rinsing, cleaning and sanitizing. Manual process-daily Monitoring operation of the dryer. Position is fast-paced with candidate operating multiple machines. Good environmental cleaning is a must - **Food Mentality** Work environment is loud and hot; requires candidate to maneuver, move, position, transport, ascend/descend stairs and platforms. Requires successful completion of skills assessment and be trainable.
