Description:
Immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer -Entry Level to join our growing department. The successful candidate will support and interface with Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to support the establishment and implementation of effective process controls, geared toward risk mitigation. Proactively monitor, analyze, report and participate in the improvement of process and product performance employing proven Six Sigma methodologies. Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts using complex problem-solving methods to drive the development of technical solutions. Manage product qualification, monthly testing and test report generation. Review and verify applicable contractual/Customer requirements and ensure these are known and translated as warranted, into operational plans and test procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: • Evaluate the company’s product specifications and examine them with customer requirements • Define quality measures in conjunction with manufacturing associates • Monitor performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports • Analyze performance charts and data against defined parameters • Perform corrective and preventive actions for identified issues • Conduct audits and create management reports to identify corrective actions • Lead continuous improvement initiatives • Create and maintain company quality documentation such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. • Comply with all safety rules at all times • Promote a high level of cooperation, communication and coordination between the supervisors and associates of all departments • Demonstrate a positive attitude and consideration towards fellow associates • Perform other duties as assigned • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required (recent graduates are encouraged to apply) • Must be organized and detail oriented, have ability to multi-task in a matrix reporting structure • Be an effective communicator, demonstrate leadership characteristics, and be solutions • oriented • The ability to analyze data for trends with the ability to identify effective root cause and • corrective action. • Possess ability to understand and communicate typical engineering/manufacturing concepts and processes • Have knowledge and experience of inspection processes and methods, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering technical data required • Must have interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers • MS Office Experience is preferred #CBRC
