Job Title: Professional Furniture Finisher Job Location: Dawsonville, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: To assist in executing the finishing process of furniture up to the standards of quality from raw furniture through to a finished piece that is ready for shipment. You will follow SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) for the tasks that are assigned to you. You will be in charge of managing these tasks and deadlines to ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner. You will work closely with furniture fabricators making sure that all production is both on-time and to standards of craftsmanship. You will also be empowered to improve on production efficiencies and system improvements to create the best possible working environment. Shop organization, routine cleanings, and safety are all required. The candidate must have experience and superb skill in: • Sanding and surface preparation • Reading shop drawings to understand the parts/pieces and how they relate to each other • Opening grain for cerused finishes • Gun control • Making repairs to veneer issues that may arise during the finishing process • understanding the value of parts in process at various production stages A minimum of 3 years' professional finishing experience in a production environment is required. #CBRC Requirements: Minimum Experience: 36 Months Special Requirements: This job does not have any special requirements.
