Job Title: Landscape Team Leader Job Location: Brunswick, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: This position is for a Landscape Team Leader at Southeast Georgia’s premier landscape company. Team Leader will provide landscape services to some of Coastal Georgia’s finest commercial and residential properties. Requirements: * High school diploma required. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * GA driver’s license required with a clean driving record (this will be checked). * 1 year of landscape experience required. * Some experience supervising or leading staff. Job duties include leading and supervising a crew to installing plants, sod, mulch, trees, and hardscapes, operating a zero turn lawn mower, blower, weed-eater, edger, and/or pole saw and snips on commercial/residential properties, and assisting the Team Leader with duties as needed. Responsible Areas and Expectations: Ensure Safety-Ensure all equipment is tied down and secure, safety PPE is worn at all times, safety cones are placed out beside truck and trailer, all laws and regulations concerning the equipment are followed, stop equipment before adjusting, and aide by all Georgia laws and Department of Transportation regulations while driving. Supervise Crews-Communicate to team members what work is expected to be completed on every job site, ensure each team member is completing the work set forth by the Client Relations Manager and Operations Manager, train team members according to the procedures and standards set forth by the company and retrain when needed, hold all team members accountable for completing their job in compliance with the company’s expectations, maintain all efficiency hours for each property, and follow the GANTT charts for each property as written. Maintain Properties-Ensure proper maintenance of residential and commercial properties is completed according to the company’s maintenance procedures, follow GANTT charts for each property, and maintain each client’s property according to certain client specifications as noted in Aspire. Equipment Care-Ensure proper care and use of hand tools and equipment, report any problems with equipment to the Operations Manager, ensure proper care of issued truck and report any problems with the truck to the Operations Manager, keep the truck cab and trailer free of trash, wash truck and trailer as scheduled, responsible for loading and unloading proper equipment (mowers, fuel, supplies) on truck in the afternoon for the next day, and responsible for unloading yard debris & waste from trucks at the shop daily. Contributing to the Team Effort-Ensure daily time entry is completed for your crew and job work orders are completed and attend all meetings and team training sessions. Communication-Keep an open line of communication with the Operations Manager, Client Relations Manager, and crew, communicate any areas of concern with a property, problems with a team member or client with the Operations Manager, and communicate with the client when needed. Physical Demands: Qualified candidate will carry, stoop, bend, kneel, lift up to 60+ lbs., pull, snip, saw, bend, spray, remain upright and mobile repetitively, and communicate. Exposures: fumes, chemicals, loud noises, flying particles, and weather. Schedule is 10 hours per day (6:30 Am to 5:00 PM w/ a 30 minute lunch), Monday thru Thursday, but Fridays are reserved for makeup days in case of rain during the week, so candidate must be available Monday thru Friday. Fridays may also be used for paid overtime when workload permits. Company is located in Brunswick, Georgia and serves the Golden Isles area including St. Simons, Sea Island, Darien, Savannah, and sections of Camden County.
