Job Title: Assembly Line Technician Job Location: Carrollton, Georgia Salary: - $10.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: Job Summary: Work with a team of assemblers and welders for basic set up and assembly of dowel bar baskets. Duties/Responsibilities: • Read and interpret assembly instructions. • Moves materials to and from the work area. • Layout components on welding tables according to assembly instructions. • Inspect work to ensure established quality standards are met. • Maintain efficient operation of a fast-paced assembly line. • Assist welder with tools and materials. • Keep work area neat and organized. • Wear appropriate PPE as required. • Follows all plant safety rules. • Train new employees of duties and responsibilities. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Progress to production welding. Required Skills/Abilities: • Basic math skills to use tape measure, calculating measurements and verify quantities. • Comprehend written and verbal instructions set in English language. (work orders, operational procedures, safety procedures, company policy). • Possess high quality standards and work ethic to work independently. • Must be able to be work shift as scheduled and overtime as needed.
