Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Location: Carrollton, Georgia Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: Performs preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair on facility machinery. Read and understand schematics, blueprints or layouts for equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for equipment, such as inspect drives, motors, or belts, check fluid levels, replace filters or other actions indicated by manufacturer recommendations. Troubleshoot and complete repairs and part replacement by dismantling machines, equipment, or devices to access or remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools or power tools. Fabricate or weld parts or components. Change line for job changeovers. Install, assemble and test new equipment. Perform the necessary work with a minimum of direct supervision to identify and solve problems. Work effectively with other team members. Complete written record of work performed. Performs other tasks as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities: Operational knowledge of tool room equipment such as manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, CNC and EDM machines. Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC’s. Work with precision measuring equipment. Work with tool room equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, etc. Education and Experience: Technical School Certification or combination of HS Diploma and relative experience. Industrial mechanic, at least 2 years.
