Description:
Summary of Position: Plan, direct, or coordinate Quality programs. Formulate Quality Control policies and control quality of laboratory and production efforts. Duties and Responsibilities: * Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality. * Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. * Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. * Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. * Perform visual inspections of finished products. * Stop production if serious product defects are present. * Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. * Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors. * Work with management and staff to communicate quality standards and updates to ensure consistent quality in product and processes. * Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. * Establish and maintain the good relationship with customer to handle the quality issue. Required skills * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (Math, Sciences, etc.). * 2+ years’ Quality experience in Automotive industry. * Excellent computer literacy. * Understanding of Quality Control process for Automotive industry production and to objectively review and qualify objective data. * Advanced Quality experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to ensure success. Benefits package available but not listed. Candidates are required to pass criminal background check and drug test.
