Description:
Duties and Requirements of the Job: * Performs such individual assignments as the Supervisor may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. * Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. * Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed. * Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. * Performs routine maintenance on building systems. * Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. * Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. * Troubleshoot and solve problems in electrical, PLC controls, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. * Maintain production machinery, electrical & mechanical systems and equipment. Training, Knowledge and Experience (May Be Required or Preferred, at the discretion of the hiring team): * Minimum three years of experience in production maintenance work experience working with 110- through 480-volt electrical circuits, maintaining process control systems, and troubleshooting and correcting PLC and drive controlled machine malfunctions. * Requires Associates Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Requires candidate to work collaboratively in a team environment * Must be legally authorized to work in US without a sponsorship now or in the future. * Relocation package will not be offered for this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: * Remain in a stationary position, move about, activate, use and/or operate productivity machinery and to communicate and exchange information. * The employee is regularly required to either remain in a stationary position, move about, position self to move under and/or bend, and frequently move and/or transport objects up to 75 pounds. * Requires candidate to detect, inspect, perceive and observe.. * Works within the setting of a manufacturing environment as well as,office and laboratory setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals. * Eye protection required. * Hearing protection required. * Steel toed shoes required on manufacturing and warehouse floor. * May be required to travel to other sites or customer sites as needed. * Position also requires candidate to: work flexible schedule with overtime, including but not limited to 12 hour shifts/7 days a week, perform continuous, repetitious physical activities (these activities may involve fine movements or large motions), keep pace with current production speed, maneuver/move with reasonable force, position and move self for extended periods of time. **Note - Positions on day and night shifts; night shift will train and work on days during installation of equipment until production begins or as directed.** When submitting a Resume for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia. #CBMB

Requirements:
Minimum Education: Associates degree/some college
