This position will provide the successful candidates with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role has 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail, is dedicated to learning, and is committed to workplace safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties. * Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available. * Effectively monitor production equipment. * Resolve operational issues and escalate them as necessary to Lead Operator. * Operate sit down forklift to move, pull, load and unload materials. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work space. * Follow established safety rules and regulations; maintain good 5S and cleanliness during the shift. Skill set: * Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting. * Employee is required to move around work area, remain in a stationary position during work shift, position self to complete tasks, and ascend/descend equipment. * Employee is required to maneuver a maximum of 60 pounds. * Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts; 24/7 operation may require to work adjusted shifts. * Committed to quality, safety and communication. Potential to work over time based on business needs. Shift Per Diem: 2nd shift- $ .50. 3rd Shift- $1.00. Paid bonuses depending on plant and employee performance.
