Description:
We are looking for an HR Manager/Payroll Administrator who can make our company a premier employment destination for the top talent in our industry and family life with employee. Will be responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure that all employee-related policies in each department align with our corporate goals and established regulations. The successful candidate will be charged with attracting top talent to fill open positions and reducing employee turnover at our company. . Duties and Responsibilities: * Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. * Payroll and Benefit administration for all employees to include processing and production of payroll, reports and audits. * Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. * Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. * Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. * Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. * Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with under-staffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures. * Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. * Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale. * Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws. * Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills. * Knowledge of Accounting and Administration preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or subject area directly related to Human Resources, minimum three (3) years Human Resource and Payroll Specialist experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment and computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to ensure success. Benefits available but not listed. Candidates are required to pass criminal background check and drug test.
