JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the warehouse to include labor scheduling, receipts, shipments, and proper utilization of space and equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Supervises, coordinates, and assists the loading, unloading, orderly placement, and staging of product. 2. Ensures paperwork is accurate and performs second counts. 3. Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion. Maintains an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization. 4. Participates in establishing work schedules. 5. Assures the integrity of the inventory and assists in physical counts. 6. Acts on behalf of the operations manager and also acts as a liaison between warehouse workers and the operations manager. 7. Monitors the safety of all personnel, equipment and property to include cleanliness, working conditions, and repairs. PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be capable of remaining in a stationary position and moving around facility for an extended period of time. 2. Must be able to twist, position self in low areas, and place stock above shoulder level on a frequent basis. 3. Ability to maneuver up to 50 pounds. GOALS/OUTCOMES: 1. Maintain company goal of zero accidents/incidents. 2. Meet shipping and receiving accuracy of 99.8%. 3. Meet inventory accuracy of 99.8%. 4. Ensure Daily Housekeeping Checklist are accurate and complete. Qualified applicant must have computer experience. Qualified applicant must be 18 years of age. Qualified applicant must have 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment. Qualified applicant must have 2 years of box clamp forklift experience. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: RF Scanner experience. Sit-Down or Propane Forklift experience. ***RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS NOT OFFERED, therefore living outside of a reasonable commuting distance that requires relocation would be at the candidates expense.*** Pay: Night shift differential $1.00. Possible overtime. Fifty cents performance based pay increase possibility. This position has the following shifts: A Shift- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 1/2 day Wednesday 7:15 am to 7:15 pm (except 1/2 day Wednesday). OR 7:15 pm to 7:15 am (except 1/2 day Wednesday). B Shift- 1/2 day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:15 am to 7:15 pm (except 1/2 day Wednesday). OR 7:15 pm to 7:15 am (except 1/2 day Wednesday). Substance abuse testing is a condition of employment. Background check will be conducted. Employer will administer integrity, skills, and math test.
