Description:
Job Purpose: Recruitment specialist is responsible for coordinating the hiring process end-to-end including sourcing and reaching out to qualified candidates for current open roles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Talent Acquisitions: * Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs. * Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications. * Create and publish job ads in various portals (Internal & External). * Host and participate in job fairs. * Recruit top-notch active and passive candidates by sourcing, maintaining candidate pipelines, pursuing referrals and developing meaningful contacts. * Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements. * Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews. * Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures. * Work with staffing agencies and monitor their performance. * Organize and document post-interview debriefing and feedback. * Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process. * Assist with on-going and short-term projects as necessary. HR Administration: * Provides excellent Human Resources support to all levels of the organization. * Provides guidance and assistance to employees and management regarding interpretation, compliance, and enforcement of Human Resource policies and procedures, state and federal laws. * Coordinates and actively participates in new employee orientation and on boarding. * Plans and executes various employee engagement events and activities throughout the year. * Provides project assistance through running data for open enrollment, annual review process and other projects. * Monitor progressive discipline (attendance, plant standards, etc.) Provide sound, accurate, and appropriate advice for consistency in policy application regarding employee relations, while adhering to legislative/corporate guidelines. * Assist with conducting exit interviews. Analyze findings and make recommendations to reduce turnover. * Responsible for maintaining and reviewing employee data in the HRIS; ensure employee changes are input accurately and timely (new hires, leave of absence status, termination, etc.). * Monitor external labor union trends and movement. Requirements: * Employer requires a Bachelor's degree. * Employer requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. * Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required. Physical & Mental Demands: * In the office: Must wear the company-provided uniform. * In the production site: Must wear the company-provided uniform and PPE including safety shoes, clean suit, dust mask, latex gloves, safety glasses/safety goggles. Work Environment: * Usual office environment.
