Description:
Duties and Requirements of the Job: * Performs such individual assignments as the supervisor may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Focus on Distribution side, Inventory management , maintain in collaboration with Warehouse manager, inventory accuracy in the system and monitor and manage inventory to the desired level, * Finished goods replenishment, forecast demand, in collaboration with account management teams. * Replenish finished goods by taking holistic view on demand forecast, inventory on hand, incoming inventory, and desired inventory level. * Key liaison for and maintaining a strong relationship with oversea vendors. * Ocean logistics - Monitor and manage ocean freight rate. Review and vet ocean freight, duty/tariff related cost. * Key liaison for and maintaining a strong relationship with ocean logistics partners. * Track and follow through on logistics of incoming goods. * Reporting and analytics, create and distribute weekly inventory report. * Ad hoc analysis. Key Job Tasks: * Various reporting, data collection and analysis. * Cost out each container arriving at (Material + Ocean Freight + Duty). Inventory and consignment. * Perform calculations of inventory vs. demand to review with business leader and recommendation. * Enter replenishment and receiving data in to FinOps for all consignment inventory. * Collect and record inventory level data for comparison to prior week for data analysis. * Process return to vendor purchase orders to correct receiving errors related to item number or quantity. * Review consignment and external warehouse inventory monthly to ensure match of data to FinOps. * Point of contact to coordinate delivery from vendors to final destination. * Review custom's clearance documents for accuracy and get to appropriate parties. * Work with freight forwarders to get Ocean Freight Rates. * Physically enter purchase orders in to FinOps for ALL inventory items. (Internal and consignment) * Review PI's for orders and confirm. Training, Knowledge and Experience (May Be Required or Preferred, at the discretion of the hiring team): * Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University and minimum two (2) years Supply Chain Analyst/Production Planner work experience -or- equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must be legally authorized to work in US without a sponsorship now or in the future. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Requires candidate to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Advanced experiences with Microsoft office 365 and other office tools. • Relocation package will not be offered for this position. Working Conditions: • The employee is regularly required to either remain in a stationary position, move about, position self to move under and/or bend, and frequently move and/or transport objects up to 10 pounds. • Works within a manufacturing environment, office and laboratory setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals. • May be required to travel to other sites or customer sites as needed. • Must wear PPE as required to include steel-toed shoes in the Manufacturing and Warehouse areas.
