Job Title: Warehouse Manager Job Location: Dalton, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Duties and Requirements of the Job: * Performs such individual assignments as the Management may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. * Performs those administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the department, including provision for the selection and development of employees, pay administration, budget administration, employee safety, employee counseling and motivation. Also including, but not limited to organization goals and objectives, planning, organizing, integrating and measuring the work performed within the department and ensure adequate and continuous control is exercised over the activities affecting quality. * Perform, as needed, an array of activities that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. * Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system. * Maintains excellent physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Training, Knowledge and Experience (May Be Required or Preferred, at the discretion of the hiring team): * Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University and minimum two (2) years Warehouse management work experience -or- equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the Flooring industry highly desirable. * Must be legally authorized to work in US without a sponsorship now or in the future. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Requires candidate to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Advanced experiences with Microsoft office 365 and other office tools. • Relocation package will not be offered for this position. Working Conditions: • The employee is regularly required to either remain in a stationary position, move about, position self to move under and/or bend, and frequently move and/or transport objects up to 60 pounds. • Works within a manufacturing/warehouse environment, office and laboratory setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals. • May be required to travel to other sites or customer sites as needed. • Must wear PPE as required to include steel-toed shoes in the Manufacturing and Warehouse areas.
