ONE APPLICATION WILL ALLOW EVALUATION FOR ALL POSTED PRODUCTION OPERATOR POSITIONS.*** Module/pack production operator I works in routine, following standard procedures under supervision. He/She uses the equipment and computerized systems to produce, evaluate, package module/pack of lithium-ion batteries. Responsibilities may include a monitoring of automated process types such as raw material input, assembly operations, visual inspections, and on-site logistics. Additionally, responsibilities include conducting quality checks, engaging in troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance throughout the production process, and collecting qualifying products and package for shipment. Job Duties: 1. Preparing the Production (Raw material Input) - Verify correct material to be fed - Scan materials with barcode scanner. 2. Production (All except on-site logistics) - Ensure that work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe working environment according to the safety instructions. Engage production activities according to the documented work instructions and standards. Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity. *Feed the materials (all parts of battery module except the cell) to the equipment. *(Raw Material Input) - Verify proper material and feed the cells to the equipment. *Write daily log of cell input. *(Assembly) - Perform assembly operations (e.g. bolting, sensor installation, etc.). Monitor processes and perform continuous image inspections and visual quality checks of the products to ensure acceptance standards are met. Perform continuous appearance inspection after the welding with the unaided eyes. 3. Troubleshooting (All except on-site logistics) - Identify any irregularities which are not compliant to work instructions and control plan regarding work environment, production process, raw materials, and the quality of semi-finished products. Engage in basic troubleshooting according to the work instructions and report issues if not resolved. 4. Semi-finished Product Inspection (Module Assembly) - Conduct module appearance inspection through inspection equipment. For non-conforming product, register the non-conformity and reason into MES. 5. Equipment Maintenance (All except on-site logistics) - Clean the equipment and working area according to the company specified standard. Inspect the equipment according to the equipment feature inspection guide, take appropriate measures on site, report issues if not resolved. 6. On-site Logistics (On-site logistics) - Transport the raw materials in the warehouse to production equipment by forklift. Requirements: *High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development) required. *Six (6) months of Production Operator experience in a manufacturing environment. *Forklift experience required. Forklift Certification preferred. *Full professional proficiency in the English language required. *Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) experienced required. Demands & Environments: 1. Physical & Mental Demands: Must wear PPE including safety shoes, clean suit, dust mask or respirator, latex gloves, safety glasses/safety goggles, and polyurethane protective gloves for cutting, wear chemical protective clothing and mask to shield the effects of chemical hazards (only for the protection-required operations), must consistently and safely lift in excess of 75 pounds, maneuver stairs/ladders, reach, tolerate prolonged upright position, balance, bend, and remain low to push and pull objects. 2. Work Environment: Potential exposure to chemical compound (Ethanol). Core Competencies: 1. Professional Competencies: Qualified candidate must operate the equipment according to the standard procedures and work instructions under supervision, conduct quality inspection for the semi-finalized product under supervision, troubleshoot a variety of equipment malfunctions, understand First in, First out (FIFO), manage and prioritize workload, and create routine documentation or basic report as required under supervision. 2. Behavioral Competencies: Qualified candidate must stay focused on the quality by ensuring consistency and adherence to high standards, as well as paying close attention to even the minutest details involved, work collaboratively with other teammates and departments to accomplish common goals and objectives, take responsibility for the tasks that have been assigned, and follow standard procedures, adhering to rules and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency. PTO paid time off) plans: 13 PTO (paid time off) days and 3 EPTO (emergency paid time off) days per year (prorated depending on your hire date). 11 paid holidays per year. Lunch: Company buys employee’s lunch for all shifts. They are building a cafeteria at the plant. Benefits: Company pays 90 percent of the health insurance premium for all coverages (Single, family).
