Description:
JOB DUTIES: * Operate production line machinery and/or computers. * Troubleshoot production line machinery. * Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Clean and maintain workstation and follow all safety and company policies. * Keep track of parts and materials and refill bins needed to perform duties. * Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies as needed. * Possess a high level of technical aptitude with the ability to learn and multi-task. * Experience using various power tools. * Mechanical aptitude and knowledge. * Technical knowledge to operate equipment. * Work in fast paced environment. * At least one year of manufacturing experience required. * Two years preferred or two years of equivalent college training/technical certification . * Will work a flexible schedule to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Must be able to work weekends as production schedule increases by clients. * Will work a 10-12-hour shift while remaining in a stationary position most of the time. * Will move up to 35 pounds when performing job tasks. * Report to work on time and have reliable transportation. THINGS TO KNOW: * Progressed pay: Starting hourly rate of $14.64 which increases to $15.73 after successful completion of 90-day training period and completion and submission of completed orientation checklist. Additional increase after each qualification. * Structured overtime: Rotating 36-hour and 48-hour work weeks allow for eight hours of structured overtime every other week. * Free time: Seven consecutive days off when working 14 days in a 28-day period. * Vacation time: Over 80 hours vacation leave per year, nine paid holidays and four floating holidays, prorated based on hire date. Work Keys Assessment required in the following categories: * A minimum score of 4 in Work Keys Applied Math * A minimum score of 4 in Work Keys Workplace Documents * Minimum score of 4 for Work Keys Graphic Literacy If previously taken in last 5 years, Work Keys test scores can be emailed to rebecca.hammonds@gdol.ga.gov. Testing available onsite. Company will coordinate and pay for testing. Shift work plus availability for overtime will be required. The hiring process includes Work Keys testing, drug screen, criminal background check, and physical prior to hire. #CBRH
