Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift Job Location: Augusta, Georgia Salary: $60000.00 - $75000.00 Salary Frequency: Yearly Description: Responsible for day to day management of the maintenance mechanics in the areas of manufacturing equipment & repair and facility and utility maintenance & repair. Ensures compliance of all Safety, GMP, food safety policies and procedures along with all federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations. Supervises, develops, and motivates the Maintenance Mechanics in the areas of manufacturing, facility and utility equipment troubleshooting, and repair. Aggressively manages all break down maintenance requirements to successful conclusions. Schedules (via the department’s Work Order System) and directs the day-to-day activities of the maintenance mechanics to achieve safe, timely, and satisfactory work. Evaluates the effectiveness of manufacturing equipment functionality and schedules necessary repairs or suggests changes in operating methods in order to improve plant operations. Insures compliance with the department’s preventative maintenance procedures. Tracks, measures, and documents the performance of the maintenance mechanics on an individual basis. Completes annual evaluations as required. Education: Mechanical or Electrical certification preferred. Experience: At least six (6) years of industrial maintenance experience. Three (3) years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment requiring knowledge of refrigeration.
