Job Title: Sorter Job Location: Macon, Georgia Salary: $14.00 - $14.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing materials so that outbound products are acceptable for sale to customers. Sort, restack, move and package materials as assigned Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. Follow all Company safety policies and procedures Inspect loads for unacceptable waste; remove unacceptable items as required. Communicate with equipment operators regarding sorted pallets or other loads that require special attention. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Able to bend, stoop, twist and stack Able to discern colors and patterns. A high school diploma or GED is required. At least one year manufacturing experience is required (not warehouse or distribution); sorting experience is preferred.
