Description:
Responsible for growing existing business and gaining profitable new business with targeted accounts. The position is responsible for market penetration that supports the facility and growth initiatives in efforts to meet annual budget commitments. In addition, position builds and maintains relationships with accounts at all levels. Establish sales relationships with Key Customers and Retailers in geographical area. Work in conjunction with team leaders to assist in sales and marketing presentations. Develop sales rapport with Foodservice Companies, Distributors, Retailers, and any other relevant opportunities. Create and follow through with sales plans when working with distributors and wholesale accounts. Review weekly market trends and conduct phone calls/meetings with distributors and wholesale accounts. Negotiate program agreements with regional accounts and distributors. Plan, Schedule, Develop, and Execute sales trainings and new product introductions with Foodservice or Wholesale Distributors, Retailers. Maintain an accurate sales forecast to meet business unit objectives. Knowledge of boxed beef, retail items, grind offerings and pricing. Regular collaboration with Director of Sales to review and update strategies and initiatives. Accept ownership of sales objectives and all facets of our business that impact sales growth and management. Be informed and communicate market and industry changes that will affect our performance and growth. Skills required: Foodservice business and supply chain mechanics. Principles and practices of selling strategies and methodologies. Principles and practices of strategic planning and execution. Structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Contracting and negotiation management. Understanding of food safety, as it pertains to USDA Inspections and State Regulatory Standards. Must Demonstrate: Recognized leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively work with Government agencies, vendors, contractors, and customers. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food sales, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in sales. #CBRC
