Job Title: Fabricator/Welder Job Location: Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia Salary: $13.00 - $16.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: National sign manufacturing company located in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, seeks a Fabricator/Welder. The ideal candidate will have experience working with aluminum and/or steel, be knowledgeable of many techniques and tools, be able to read drawings and have a mechanical aptitude. Requirements: * Requires Candidate to bend, cut and mig weld aluminum and steel. * Three years’ experience working with aluminum and/or steel, be knowledgeable of many techniques and tools, read drawings and have mechanical aptitude. * Operate various sheet metal shears, brake presses, circular metal saws, and other equipment. * Requires candidate to be mechanically inclined, read blue prints and drawings for fitting and fabricating metal products. * Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade. * Requires Candidate to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. and maintain an efficient, steady work pace. * Work independently and as a team to complete work orders timely. * Pay close attention to detail and have good organizational skills. * Requires Candidate to follow all safety, regulatory and environmental/hazardous standards. * Requires Candidate to work overtime, as needed. * Must be able to pass drug screening and pre-employment physical.
