Description:
Responsibilities:* Manage environment permits and compliance activities. (Air permit, Pretreatment, NPDES, SID).* Conducts permitting review applicability of maintenance project.* Environment inspections and audits.* Environment incident investigations and verifies implementation of corrective action.* Maintain environmental testing equipment and sampling data from various sources.* Managing Environment strategy budgets.* Performs statistical analysis, prepares reports, maintains appropriate compliance records and files required documents with various regulatory agencies within stated deadlines.* Develops environment management systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. (ISO14001).* Interacts with the plant personnel and company management to communicate environmental requirements, identifies compliance issues, implements compliance requirements, and acts as a technical resource.* Acts as the interface between management and regulatory agencies (local, state, and federal) in resolving major environmental issues.* Provides leadership, guidance and technical support to operations management. * Provides training to plant personnel on key environmental issues, environmental requirements and compliance.* Prepares and manages contracts with suppliers and consultants for the PJT and routine activities.* Works independently with outside consultants, contractors and legal counsel.* Establish long and short-term environment management strategy plan. Qualifications & Preferences:* Bachelor's degree in in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related field.* 10 years of job-related experience. * Experience to establish and operate environment procedures based on ISO14001. * Proficient in MS Office products.*Valid Drivers License Required.Preferred:* Experience of EHS management for new plant startup PJT.* Job related experience in Automotive Industry.* Experience with establishing or using environment IT system.* Strong organizational and systems implementation. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Leadership coaching skills; investigation skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving and human relations skills.Qualified candidates must be proficient in the following areas:* Working with a team, planning and organizing, problem solving, communication, strategic thinking and mindset, willingness for transformational changes, and flexibility.Travel Requirement: * Domestic/International travel required.Compensation & Benefit:* Employer offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits.* Employer offers our employees with competitive Medical/ Vision/Dental insurance.* Employer offers relocation package as HR Policy.* The 401K will be applied to employees from 2023.* Employer requires a pre-employment drug screen.
