Job Title: General Accountant Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Heavy involvement in monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations. * Responsible for the oversight of financial results of assigned plants. * Assist plant management in understanding monthly financial results. * Assist plant in researching and resolving financial issues. * Assist in internal management reporting and analysis. * Responsible for assigned incentive accounting areas. * Assist with external reporting including preparation of SEC footnote disclosures. * Work on other special projects, as assigned. * Company offers relocation pay for this position Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. * 1 year of accounting experience required in financial month-end close processes. * Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP skills required. Preferred: * Job related experience in Automotive Industry. * CPA preferred. Qualified candidates must be proficient in the following areas: * Working with a team, planning and organizing, problem solving, communication, flexibility, and strategic thinking and mindset. * Domestic/International travel required.
