Job Title: Staff Accountant Job Location: Macon, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three (3) years of broad industrial financial and cost accounting experience. Must have experience as a Cost Accountant with Fixed Asset experience in manufacturing or large (300+ personnel) industry; SAP and ERP experience a must. Will analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements and manage and administer overall financial affairs including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxes, financing, reporting to government or headquarters. Will administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the company's financial status. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting. Will implement a robust contracts management and financial management reporting system;ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements. Will process month end, quarter end and year end closing; prepare accruals calculation for month end; review month end results and review expense variances; perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet review, manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules; prepare property, sales and use tax; perform fixed asset audit review production orders for variances.
