Description:
Successful Lean Coordinator will focus on working with the local teams to improve performance in terms of People Contribution, Quality, Delivery, Production Control and Equipment Efficiency.They will spend almost entirely their time on the shop floor and contribute actively to accelerating and embedding the Lean culture in the company. Currently there are no direct report responsibilities associated with this position. * Insures compliance to rules with a focus on Lean.* Supports audits, performs audits and holds accountability to standard on the shop floor.* Insures the Lean KPIs are reported monthly according to Lean Standards.* Develops the shop floor Visual Control systems according to Lean Standards.* Leads Problem Solving Workshops according to Lean Standards.* Contributes to the Policy Deployment reviews by proposing and following a Workshops Plan.* Contributes to the design of the New Processes to develop the Lean Engineering principles.* Lead HIRARCS and assessment of environmental impacts for operations.* Knowledge of ISO 14001 and TS/ISO 16949 are required or the willingness to learn quickly to proficient levels.* Experience in supervision of employees.* Requires candidate to possess skill sets to influence and lead by example, willingness to conduct workshops, to train on lean principles and the deployment of tools and processes, and to effectively interact and engage the team.* Hands-on, willing to spend most of his/her time (ca. 80%) on the shop floor.* Convincing, persistent, open minded and good communicator.* Willing to travel to other factories.Job Requirements for Candidate (not all inclusive):* Have High School Diploma/GED; College degree preferred.* Have good written and oral communication skills.* Willing to work on many tasks to ensure an uninterrupted manufacturing process.* Availability to work flexible schedule especially during launch.* Knowledge of ISO 14001 and TS/ISO 16949 are required or the willingness to learn quickly to proficient levels.* Experience in supervision of employees..Candidate will be required to pass pre-employment examination, drug screening, and background check.
