Job Title: Welding Process Engineering Assistant Manager Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead a team of Process Engineers and Jig Team Members in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed department goals and objectives. Responsible for monitoring Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale including project planning, process improvements, and daily improvement activities as a core discipline.Body Shop Process Management:* Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience* Minimum 3 years of experience as a design or launch/process engineer preferably in high volume automotive.* Strong Engineering fundamentals in manufacturing process. * Proficiency in CAD modeling. Autocad or CATIA V5/V6 experience a plus but not mandatory. * Proficiency with dimensional control, statistics and data analysis * Experience with various manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding and brazing* Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards, PFMEA, and control plan.* Follow the policies or procedures of employer.Plant construction and Preparation for new model production:* Review and manage the construction progress of the body shop.* Performs production preparation work related to the input of new models.* Oversee, inspect and manage new model project progress.* Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document.* Review purchase specifications for production of new vehicle equipment and installation Including transportation and customs clearance.Qualifications and PreferencesMinimum:* Bachelor's degree (Engineering majors preferred) or related work experience.* Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.* Extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposal.* Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company-approved sponsorship for this position now or in the future.Education / Personnel / Organization Management:*Follow the training policies or procedures of the employer.* Build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.* Cooperate in strengthening organizational power through communication and active exchanges among employees.Preferred:* 5 or more years of job-related experience.* Job experience related to the automotive industry.Competency-based:* Working with Team members.* Planning and Organizing.* Problem solving, strategic thinking and mindset.* Communication.* Commitment to transformative change and flexibility.* Communication/Collaboration attitude with Korean companies and employee.Travel Requirement:* Domestic/International travel required.Compensation & Benefits:* Employer offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits.* Employer offers competitive medical, vision, and dental insurance.* Employer offers relocation pay for this position. * 401K will be applied to employees beginning in mid to late 2023.* Employer requires a pre-employment drug screen.
