Job Title: Welding Production Assistant Manager Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Lead a crew/shift of Group Leaders, Team Leaders and Team Members in the manufacturing areas to meet and exceed department goals and objectives.* Responsible for monitoring Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.Body Shop Management:* Direct multiple Group Leaders and their respective teams.* Manage and lead problem solving and countermeasure activities.* Undertake special assignments as required by management. * Ensure all Team Members perform to employer policies and procedures. * Perform time input and other administrative tasks as required.* Develop, train and retain a high quality workforce.* Maintain a pro-Team member environment.* Administer, coordinate and comply with all Business Management Systems, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.* Meet all other requirements as assigned.Education / Personnel / Organization Management:* Follow the training policies or procedures of employer.* Build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.* Cooperate in strengthening organizational power through communication and active exchanges among employees.During Plant construction and Preparation for new model production:* Review and manage the construction progress of the body shop.* Perform production preparation work related to the input of new models.* Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document.Qualifications and Preferences:Minimum:* 3 or more Years of management experience.* High School Degree or GED.* Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.* Knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposals.* Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company-approved sponsorship for this position now or in the future.Preferred:* Bachelor Degree or related experience.* Job experience related to the automotive industry.* Knowledge of Robots or Resistance Spot Welding.Competency-based:* Working with Team members.* Planning and Organizing.* Problem solving, strategic thinking and mindset.* Communication.* Commitment to transformative change and flexibility.* Communication/Collaboration attitude with Korean companies and employee.Travel Requirement:* Domestic/International travel required.Compensation & Benefits:* Employer offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits.* Employer offers competitive medical, vision, and dental insurance.* Employer offers relocation pay for this position. * 401K will be applied to employees beginning in mid to late 2023.* Employer requires a pre-employment drug screen.
