Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Report to the Assistant Manager of Quality Control.* Supervise, Plan, coordinate, and direct the team activities of multiple team leaders engaged in the production of the vehicle and their respective areas.* Plan and establish work schedules, proper assignments, and production sequence to meet Quality and Production goals. * Assure inspection of materials, products, and equipment to detect defects and malfunctions.* Demonstrate and assure maintenance of equipment operation, work, and safety procedures to team members.* Observe work and monitor process to ensure team members conform to quality, production, and process standards.* Recommend actions and drive quality improvement through coordination, monitoring, and performing specialize technical process-related functions directly related to completed vehicle inspection (including abnormality management).* Analyze internal and external quality indicators and determine quality trends to drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, & HRD metrics.* Research and investigate quality issues to determine root cause. * Execute/implement quality inspection and improvement activities of mass-produced vehicles and conducting activities to identify new vehicle projects analysis of completed vehicle to ensure its high quality and conformity to international standards.* Quality Inspection - Activities to establish/improve inspection methods and prevent leakage/ flow out of post-processes. Mentor and utilize team to develop, maintain, and ensure the standards and criteria for Line Inspection to provide sound, secure inspection system for a defect-free vehicle to customers.* Improvement - Analysis of the cause of the vehicle problem, improvement activities, audit/preparation/implementation of quality meetings. Review early customer statistical, historical, internal and external quality data to prioritize, drive, and track inspection improvements in new and current models. Facilitate, recommend actions, and drive improvement through the quality and production departments for completed vehicle quality and continuous improvement activities.* Facility Manage - Quality facility/equipment management, investment cost execution/management, supplementary investment establishment. Coordinate, monitor, and/or participate in plant-wide quality promotion activities and ensure effective communication between all key stakeholders to meet or exceed established goals/expectations.* External Task - Preparation, consultation, and coordination of external events.* New vehicle - Participation in new vehicle projects (preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plan, and response to evaluation). Coordinate new model launch phase quality-gate meetings for review and analysis of issues of equipment and/or standards.* Oversee/manage ongoing systems; monitor and evaluate staff performance.* Analyze the effectiveness of processes and quality management systems.* Conduct monitoring of vehicle faults.* Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems in accordance with reference standards and applicable legal requirements.* Plan, control and monitor the corrective actions of quality non-conformity detected in audits. Prepare reports and publish timelines to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support.* Answer for certifications of the company regarding the product; make certification planning and keep track of them to meet the market's demands.* Generate reports on troubleshooting. * Maintain annual operation and annual budget plans.* Develop activities, training plan to improve employees' skills, and retain high performing work force through mentoring and coaching, and accountability with safety, speed, urgency, accuracy, and ownership mindset.* Implement corrective actions in accordance with company policy.* Build/maintain positive working relationships with Team Members and management.* Execute proper escalation plans with all shops to manage and control abnormality in completed vehicle.* Flexibility with shift rotation required.* Domestic/International travel required.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree required.* Minimum 2 years of related job experience required (supervisory experience desired; experience in Auto manufacturing, new model launch, and Quality control preferred).* Skills/ knowledge: Word, Excel, Power Point.Competency Based: * Working With a Team, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Communication.* Strategic thinking and mindset, Willingness for transformational changes, Flexibility.* Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approach to problems.* Use prompt judgements and actions based on professionalism and experiences to find problem-solving solutions in unexpected situations.* Identify complex problems; review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.* Efficiently execute tasks and maintain quality by continuously monitoring job performance; provide immediate feedback with alternative options as necessary.* Customer focused (internal and external), collaborative, team player, global citizen avoiding immoral methods and self-benefiting actions.EEO.
